She was born a full 10 years after Beatrice and Gilbert, an unexpected arrival for her middle-aged parents. Francess spent much of her younger years toddling after her siblings, but they were off to start their adult lives by the time she went to middle school. The family lives in a modest home in Logan Square. Francess's father owns a small plumbing business, and her mother supplements the income by running a daycare for a few neighborhood kids. Despite being a smart girl, Francess couldn't think of anything she wanted to study in college, so she still lives with her family. She works part-time as a ticket-taker at the run-down Logan Theater. Family: Parents- Dale (62) and Arlene (61) Siblings- Beatrice (31) and Gilbert (30) Personality: Francess is a well-mannered, unassuming girl who went to public school and spent most of her adolescence reading books in her backyard. She is a little awkward, but not sad. Despite her eagerness to make friends, she becomes a wall-flower at functions and tends to go unnoticed. For most of her life, she's been tied to her mother's apron strings. Francess is not the daring type. She looks both ways -- twice -- before crossing the street. If she encountered a demon, she'd either scream, flail, and run the other way, or shrink like a violet, rather than try to defend herself. Abilities: Francess is a normal human girl. She's had no exposure to demonology growing up, other than through horror films. As news of the supernatural world unfolded in 2012, she sat glued to her parents' television set, just as startled and terrified as most people. However, there was an edge to her fear, because Francess has a secret. Since childhood, she has experienced several instances of what she first thought of as 'dream walking', and later understood was 'etheric projection' (more commonly, though perhaps mistakenly, referred to as astral projection). It involves leaving the unconscious, sleeping, or hypnotized physical body in ghostly form, and maneuvering around the physical world. A string called a 'silver cord' maintains an attachment between the etheric self and the physical body. The traveler is usually, though not always, invisible to the material world (eyes more accustomed to the supernatural might notice her). The traveler is also able to perceive details or sensations that they didn't notice before. Francess keeps this secret safe from her family.
